The movie is about a young "North Drift to Beijing" couple who came from a small place. The husband, Guo Fengming, is an express worker. Both want to stay in this beautiful city. The wife, Ding Dong, starts to find a job. But ultimately, she can only find a job as a masseuse. The husband starts an affair with a young model who makes a living by selling her used underwear. The wife steps up to sell her "service" and her neighbor who has an interest in her comes to her workplace and avails of her stepped-up service. This begins an affair between them.
