The last moments of a prisoner about to be shot by firing squad. Atmospheric, well-crafted piece of existential POV animation. Despite no context whatsoever, Rófusz's short proves affecting. Terrifyingly effective animated short from early '80s Hungary that places the audience in the shoes of a prisoner in his final moments before the firing squad execute him. Short film from Ferenc Rofusz that packs a short wallop - an experiential piece about socio-politics and penal mechanisms. And fear.
