Adeline is a young girl who lives with her stepmother, Emma and her lover,Gérard after her father died. She seeks at all costs to move away from the house, judging them far too perverse and alcoholic, thus finding their presence harmful to flourish and attend normal schooling. So she decides to enroll in a boarding school for young girls, led by a friendly old lady and a supervisor general severe.
