Clément Maurice

First employee of the plants Light, which he entered in 1894, he became a portrait painter in Paris, where he settled in the studio of Antoine Lumière at 8 boulevard des Italiens, which allows him to enter in the middle of the cinema. In 1899, the production company Association Lumière brothers hiring as a collaborator and technician cinema for the filming of the movie Excursion automobile Paris-Meulan. Quickly, he throws himself into the production and completion of feature films like The Duel of Hamlet and Cyrano de Bergerac. With Henri Lioret, he developed the Phono-Cinema-Theatre system, pioneer of sound cinema, to be presented during the universal Exhibition of 1900.
