Christian Olivier
Christian Olivier was born in 1964 in Mali, where his parents work. The family settled in France, in the département of Essonne, when he was only eight years old. It performs a part of his studies at the ecole Estienne in paris. In 1984, he founded the group Red Tedavec his brother Pascal Olivier, says " Cali ", and Gregory Simon, said " Iso ". The group becomes Heads straight in 1987. The texts of Christian Olivier, steeped in poetry and literature, inspired by Brassens, jacques Brel's, dePrévert, of Desnos... Poems alternately sharp (the Iditenté), naive (the Radish, the Religious), surrealists (the Theatre of fish), funny (the Mouse, That is what it is le !) and especially fingerprints of tenderness and despair mixed in (the Animals, Saint-Vincent, Sold to the devil, I sing, Without title, Gino), Christian Olivier cultivates the difference both in writing and in music.
