It's a story of infidelity, that Jayaram fell accidentally in an extra marital affair with a friend of Urvashi who was a widow. Jayaram couldn't stand the sin he has committed and he confessed what has happened in his life to his wife which she couldn't forgive leads to a permanent separation. The story further proceeds with the meeting after very long years when Jayaram got transferred to the same office where Urvashi works.
