Catherine Ferran

French actress, mainly theatre but also of cinema born on 13 June 1945 in Montpellier (Hérault). She is a fellow emeritus of the Comédie-Française. She entered as a boarder at the Comédie-Française on September 1, 1971, became an associate on 1 January 1981 (468esociétaire), and was named a member emeritus on January 1, 2006. She is the sister of the theatre director Philippe Ferran and from the director of cinema Pascale Ferran. She was the wife of actor and stage director Jean-Paul Roussillon.
