A 14-year-old boy, Tasaki, is fed up with his depressing life in a rural town. He wastes time with his friend, Eda, who's all talk and no deed, and also suffers from bullying by a classmate, Takiguchi. He feels happier only when having a chat with a pretty girl, Sakura. One day, he hears about an old tank left decayed deep in the lake. Driven by the idea that the tank can break through his days, Tasaki sets off on the quest. It's an internal journey where he faces with himself in puberty.
