Anker Taasti

Anchor Taasti (Rasmussen) was lærersøn and became a student in 1949, and studied theology at Copenhagen University before he - after reading of Einar Juhl - searched on Privatteatrenes Elevskole (The New Theatre) 1952-1955. He was on study trips to London, Berlin and Paris. He made his debut in 1955 as Richmond in "Cant" in The new Theatre. Ago, he had exposures in the great hall, The new Theatre and Youth Theatre. TV-the Theatre, the construction of the "Six comrades" paved the way for his employment at Odense Theatre, to which he was attached for almost 40 years. Anchor Taasti starred in many of the theatre's major productions and was for the audience one of the funen landsdelsscenes well-known names since he as a young actor, in 1962, came to Odense and among other things had the experience to play together with the theatre of great legendary actor Finn Lassen.
