Anja Pohl
In Munich and Berlin, she studied after her graduation, from 1989, both Newer and Newest history, the history of political science, which she completed in 1994. Meanwhile, from 1991 to 1992, she completed the course in "General design" at the Zurich school of design. Shortly thereafter, they made from 1993 to 1995, average work placements and Assistantships at Daniela Beauvais and Tanja Schmidbauer in Munich and Berlin. Then, you could make starting from 1996 as a freelance editor self-employed. So you already worked in the short films Small striker and The last second by Tim Trageser as editor. This had, in turn, showed as an actor in the short film, Mafia, Pizza, Razzia by Peter Thorwarth with you also for the section responsible. With Thorwardt, in turn, connects to a multi-year collaboration, which ranged over several projects up to the year 2006. The next joint work with Wessely, the documentary reverse shot – rebellion of the filmmakers, brought her 2008 nomination for the movie+cut price. In addition to her professional work as an editor, she worked more frequently as a juror on film festivals, and a lecturer at film schools. So she was, among other things, a juror for the DOC.festival 2008 in Munich, and twice, in 2005 and 2006, the pre-Jury of the Film+ in Cologne, Germany. Furthermore, she was a lecturer at the HFF in Munich and the IFS Köln. She lives together with the documentary filmmaker Jörg Adolph, you are also a year-long practice of cooperation in Ebenhausen.
