Once upon a time - A mother whale tells her children the story of a human who goes out to bring the message of the whales to the people, changing the relationship between whales and humans forever. - Marina Trost travels to Hawaii and the Kingdom of Tonga with a small film team to sing with whales and make a documentary about them with the vision to bring the love and beauty of whales into the world, stop their killing and create a new loving relationship between whales and humans. Ama'ara - the Song of the Whales is a poetic documentary film in which Marina Trost's singing with whales takes the viewers on a fascinating and touching journey, while perhaps also brings them emotionally closer to the world of whales.
