Zoé is a clumsy maid who cannot succeed at anything. Unaware there's a hole in her shopping basket, she deposits a dozen eggs and fresh produce inside. She leaves a stack of fragile dishes on a parked carriage, which then shatters when it drives away. At home, she breaks a mirror and crashes a chandelier through the floorboard.
