The Poor Child (1965)

Since childhood, Alexis, the kind child of a humble field worker, and Anna, the pampered daughter of an affluent landowner, have been inseparable. However, years later, when friendship turns into love, Anna makes it perfectly clear that she wants to have nothing to do with the son of a toiler. Now, as a sudden tragedy shakes the very foundation of the once-wealthy family, Anna still ferociously rejects Alexis' deeper feelings for her. Will she ever reciprocate the true love of a poor boy?
