Thrushes made a nest on a birch, and their young hatched out. But then Fox came and threatened that she would strike the birch with her tail, the nest would shake and eat everyone. Thrush promised that he would feed Fox with pies and honey, only he had to reach the high road. And rightly so, a grandmother appeared on the road with a basket of pies and a granddaughter with a pot of honey. Thrush pretended that his wing was hit. The girl and grandmother rushed to catch him, and Fox ate pies and stuck her head in a pot of honey.
