The Scheve Schuit bumps at high sea upon an abandoned ship. It's the Wankele Walvis, which Neptunus cursed, turning its crew into stone statues, including legendary most-attractive pirate lady Marylin. Piet dreams of winning her heart by undoing the curse. hard-found clues indicate that requires sprinkling the blue from the rainbow over them. To get to it, they must make the ship fly with its unique mechanism, which only works on blue pearls, which they seek on enchanted Oyster island, with giant carnivorous plants. Stien is left behind, volunteering to mind the ship, but ponders sabotage, being jealous of Marilyn.
