The plight of migrants who came to São Paulo in search of better living conditions. Much of this contingent enters civil construction in exchange for negligible wages. Without money, many live in the buildings themselves. The film explains the hidden and perverse face of the modernization of the city. Vetoed by censorship, he was hardly seen by the public.
