Some 6000 kilometres separate the point of departure from the Pacific coast of Siberia up to the shores of frozen lake Baikal, passing through China and Mongolia. Arrival at lake Baikal, where Nicolas Vanier was offered Otchum, his first sled dog, this is 30 years ago, was held last march 15 after three months of shared adventure with his ten dogs.
