Every time henpecked Onoufrios summons up the courage to break his marriage vows and go astray, his overbearing, nagging, and strict wife, Glykeria, doesn't hesitate to lock him up in their coop. Of course, in their household, nothing happens unless Glykeria gives her final approval, and with this in mind, their daughter, Nelly, will never be able to marry her boyfriend, the impecunious sculptor, Mikes. Then, out of the blue, an old flame of Glykeria enters the picture, eager to pick up where they left off. Now, what does Glykeria have to say for herself?
