Çizme (1993)
After 1950 Turkish Grand National Assembly elections, 18 years of Arabic Azan (call to pray) prohibition ended. But in a Blacksea town (Rize Ikizdere) Town Manager (also known as The Boot) wants to continue this prohibition and everyone hates him. This movie is the first and only movie about Azan Prohibition Torture in Turkiye between 1932 and 1950.
