Lori Saint Just is a gemstone expert who works for a well-known jeweler, and on whose order. for an important client he creates a high class and design necklace worth thirty billion. But after the death of his wife, Sain Just falls into depression and on the advice of the doctor he decides to move to another city, for a healthy "change of air". He goes to Naples, where he engages in volunteering, collaborating with a social worker who works in a degraded neighborhood. Here he meets Cona, a prostitute who first provokes him, then is denied him.
