Shekar comes to a village where tries to woo Akka until her brother Gulabrao Patil comes to her rescue.Shekar and Patil develop a tiff since then,Shekar has come to marry Laxmi in the village but she breaks her marriage as he asks for dowry which her father cant afford.Patil then marries Laxmi and gets her home the are living happy life But Shekar decides to screw their happiness along their maid and tries to spoil Laxmi's character.Patil to suspects Laxmi having an affair and that their child is of someone else he pushes Laxmi from hilltop where two con men Balu ,Kalu and his gang catch him red handed and ask's him to shell out money to save his life.Laxmi returns home unhurt and finds Patil missing who goes to Akka's house.But soon he leaves Akka's house and joins Balu and Kalu to con people.But Laxmi as devoted wife still waits for his return.
