Wolfram Igor Derntl

Tungstène Igor Derntl was born in Mauthausen. He completed his vocal studies at the Goetheanistisches Conservatoire with honours. En 2004, he was engaged at the Opéra national de Vienne, and has since then also been member of the Wiener Hofmusikkapelle. Before his fixed engagement at the Opéra d'état de Vienne, he was engaged for example at the Wiener Volksoper, the de Vienne, l'Opéra de chambre, the Théâtre de la ville de Saint-Pölten, à Klosterneuburg, Schwetzingen, or at the Burgtheater à Vienne. He was successful as Tamino (la flûte enchantée), Basilio and Don Curzio (Figaro), Pedrillo (l'Enlèvement au Sérail), Barinkay (baron tzigane), Simon (étudiant pauvre, mais), Adam (Vogelhändler) et Alfred (Chauve-souris). Since his engagement at the Opéra d'état de Vienne he has performed numerous roles, apart from his administrative activities for the choir.
