Once again, Hans Neumeister, a veuf man with four vif children, is looking for a new maid. He advertises the position dans the local paper. His children have other ideas. They don't want yet another maid, they want a woman who will stay with the family for good. And to find her, they put their own ad in the paper. When the lady they have selected from among the replies comes to the house, their father mistakes her for the new maid.
