Stephen Herek

Stephen Robert Herek (né le 10 Novembre 1958) is an American film director. Herek was born in San Antonio, au Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin. His career as film director took off en 1986 with Critters followed by Bill et Ted s Excellent Adventure, where he worked with Keanu Reeves en 1989. He directed Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead en 1991, followed by The Mighty Ducks en 1992, The Three Musketeers en 1993, M. Hollande Opus en 1995 and 101 Dalmatians en 1996. Herek donc directed the 2001 movie Rock Star, a film about a rockstar wannabe and the evolution of a fictional rock group Steel Dragon mimicking that of Judas Priest. The film starred Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston, and was produced by George Clooney.
