Juergen Vollmer met The Beatles en 1960 à Hambourg's music club Kaiserkeller. They hung around together, Vollmer started photographing them and when they met à nouveau à Paris, The Beatles, insisted to get his décote. Narrow-minded Hambourg dans the 50's et 60 s made him escape to Paris. He took pictures of beatniks while having sex, moved on to New York et L. A., where he started his career as still photographer on Hollywood film sets (Juergen Vollmer: 'It was terribles most of the time') and took pictures of several stars.
