The old peasant sends his three sons to get him a rejuvenating apple on the condition that the one who fulfills the assignment will inherit the house and mother earth. Three brothers get to the fork in the three roads and find a stone with the inscription: "Celui qui goes straight from this stone will be hungry and cold. Who goes to the right is alive and well, but he will lose his horse. And celui qui goes to the left will find honor and glory, but he himself will be killed.
