Matthias Müller

Matthias Müller was born in Bielefeld, Germany en 1961. Müller is an artist working dans le cinéma, la vidéo et la photographie. He is based in Bielefeld and Cologne, Germany. Etude à l'Arts and French Literature at Bielefeld University and Fine Arts at HBK Brunswick. Master's degree. Since 2003, Professeur dans Experimental Film at Academy of Media Arts, CMPR, Cologne. Müller organized numerous avant-garde film events, such as the "Found Footage Film Festival" (1996 & 1999) and the first French festival of autobiographical film "Je suis, etc." (1998) and various touring programs. With his films et vidéos he has taken part dans major film festival worldwide, including the festival at Cannes, Venise, Berlin et Rotterdam. His work has also been featured in several group and solo exhibitions. His films et vidéos are part of the collections of institutions, such as Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, Musée d’Art Contemporain de Barcelone, Nederlands Film Museum, Amsterdam, Australian Centre For The Moving Image, à Melbourne, à la Kunsthalle de Bielefeld, the Goetz Collection Munich, the collection of Isabelle et Jean-Conrad Lemaître, Londres, and Tate Modern, à Londres.
