MARC CHÊNE was born in St Georgen im Schwarzwald, he etude de Karlsruhe and Stuttgart, and is a prizewinner of several national and international competitions. He started his career at the théâtre National Mannheim, and there played the roles of Marcello (La Bohème), le Tungstène (Tannhäuser), Papageno (la flûte enchantée), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), as well as the leading roles dans Wozzeck and Don Giovanni. Dans la saison 2007/2008, he became à ensemble member of the Opéra d'état de Vienne and a chanté entre autres, Marcello, Jeletzki, Belcore (l'elisir d'amore), Albert (Werther), Manon (Manon), Fritz/Frank, Valentin (Faust), Le Tonnerre (L'Or Du Rhin), Gunther (Crépuscule Des Dieux), Eugène Onéguine, Don Juan (à Partir d'un Totenhaus), et le Faucon (La Chauve-souris). In addition, he has appeared as a guest at the Salzbourg Festivals, the Scala de Milan, the Nederlandse Opera d'Amsterdam, the Semperoper Dresde, the Deutsche Staatsoper de Berlin, the Finnish National Opera, the Gran Teatre del Liceu à Barcelone, the Staatsoper de Munich and at the Bayreuth Du festival de salzbourg.
