Franklin Pangborn

Franklin Pangborn (23 janvier 1889 – le 20 juillet 1958) était un Américain comique de caractère de l'acteur célèbre pour jouer à la petite, mais mémorable rôles comiques flair. Il est apparu dans des dizaines de films de long métrage à jouer essentiellement le même caractère: prissy, poli, élégant, très énergique, souvent officieux, fastidieux, un peu nerveux, susceptibles de devenir troublé, mais essentiellement optimiste, et immédiatement reconnaissable à haute vitesse, formulation-type de discours. Il a joué un critère de réceptionniste dans un hôtel, un musicien, un fastidieux maître d'hôtel, un enthousiaste des ornithologues, et l'aime, et a été généralement mis dans une situation de frustration ou troublé par les pitreries des autres. Pangborn est un véritable repoussoir pour de nombreux grands comédiens.
