At nightfall, a four-engine aircraft landing at sur airport. Only one passenger goes down, Joe, the last survivor of the Jewish family Mal. He has left for Berlin forty years, en 1938. Dans the arrival room his dead family is there: parents, sister, brother, sister-in-law, tante (all of them dead dans les camps de concentrations), the uncle and his wife (exiled en Angleterre, passed in Palestine and returned to Berlin) et Lili, the young French, daughter of a Nazi, whom he loved and who died under the bombing of Berlin. A night of celebration but also face à face dramatique for those treize people who have all suffered.
