Sting

Sting (también conocido como Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner), es un músico inglés, compositor, cantante, activista, actor y filántropo. Antes de comenzar con su carrera en solitario, fue el principal compositor, cantante y bajista de la banda de rock 'La Policía'. Sting ha variado su estilo musical a lo largo de su carrera, la incorporación de los distintos elementos del jazz, reggae, clásica, new age, y worldbeat en su música. Como músico solista y miembro de La Policía, Sting ha recibido dieciséis Premios Grammy por su trabajo, recibiendo su primer Grammy a la Mejor interpretación Instrumental de Rock en 1981, y una nominación a los Oscar por la mejor canción. Él es un miembro del Rock and Roll Hall de la Fama y el Songwriters Hall of Fame.
