Schtonk! is a la farsa of the actual de eventos de 1983, when Germany's magazine Estrella published, with great fanfarria, 60 volúmenes of the alleged diaries of Adolf Hitler – which two weeks later turned out to be entirely falso. Fritz Juego (based on de la vida real forger Konrad Kujau) soporte by himself fingiendo and selling Nazi recuerdos. When Juego writes and vende a volume of hitler's (nonexistent) diaries, pp think it's just another trabajo. When sórdido periodista Hermann Willié aprende of the diaries, however, he quickly realizes their potencial value... and Juego is quickly en over his head. As the pressure generaciones and Juego is forced to deliver more and more volumes of the fake diaries, he finds himself acting increasingly like the man whose life he is reescritura. The film is a romping and hilarante sátira, poking fun not only at the events and characters involved in the hoax (who are only thinly disguised en the film), but at the malestar Germany has with its difficult past.
