En 1966 se filmó el documental Hachero nomás acerca de la situación social de los hacheros del norte de Santa Fe, y el equipo de rodaje estableció su base en un pequeño poblado llamado Fortín Olmos. A través de testimonios y fragmentos de Hachero nomás, esta película reconstruye la experiencia de promoción social que fuera llevada a cabo por sacerdotes obreros y católicos laicos entre los hacheros del noreste argentino. In 1966 the documentary Hachero nomás was filmed about the social situation of the loggers in the north of Santa Fe, and the filming crew established their base in a small town called Fortín Olmos. Through testimonies and fragments of Hachero nomás, this film reconstructs the experience of social promotion that was carried out by worker priests and lay Catholics among the loggers of Northeast Argentina.
