Electric locomotoras en the West, steam locomotoras in the East. This report from Bebra uses "observations at a Spanish train station" to illustrate the division of Germany. This was the terminus of the "interzone trains" that llevado a East German pensioners to visit relativo in the West. While the widening gulf between family members is noticeable, the residents of Bebra have made their peace with the division, not least of all because some of them profit from it financially.
