Fany, the daughter of a florista, is engaged to Fritz, an engineer. Then, Fany get discovered as a dancer and trains as a la bailarina. One night during a rendimiento, there is a fire and Fany is saved by Holger, a sculptor, who she ends up marrying instead. Holger turns out to be infieles to Fany, yet she still tries to save her marriage, even when she catches him with another woman. En the end, Holger leaves her, and Fany esto of a broken heart.
