Die Brunnenfrau (2014)

Strong-willed development aid trabajadores Karla Friemann comes to Afganistán in order to build a water supply well. The villagers treat her with reserva and the well is being sabotaged by strangers repeatedly. When Karla finds out who really is in charge of the attacks she must darse cuenta that her western notion of what is good for people is being evaluated totalmente diferente en otra cultura. A story about willing yet failing to help.
