The Invention of Racism in Color (2023)
Zwischen 1907 und 1909 bereiste Robert Lohmeyer (1879-1959), ein deutscher Pionier der Farbfotografie, die deutschen Kolonien in Afrika und porträtierte deren Landschaften und Eingeborenen erstmals in Farbe. Damit erfüllte er einen lobenswerten Zweck, legte aber auch den Grundstein für eine dauerhafte rassistische Vision des gesamten Kontinents.
