In London Oliver takes advantage of the absence of grandparents Archer for taking along his son Thommy.Then he goes to Victoria's house to meet her (they have been lovers three years ago).But Victoria must go the a fashion show.There she meets with John Dunbeath, an American banker who works in London, but she is not interested in him.When she comes back home, Oliver presents her Thommy (whose mother Janet died) and asks her to to live in family with him and Thommy.In Benchoile Castle (Scotland) Roddy Dunbeath has invited Oliver to visit him and his brother Jock Dunbeath has invited his nephew John Dunbeath to come to Benchoile.Some days later Jock dies: when John arrives ,the lawyer of the family announces him that Benchoile castle is his inheritance.Oliver, Victoria and Thommy are well received by Roddy in Benchoile.Victoria sends secretly a letter to the Archer family.
