A scared young German 'polizist', his violently racist kollegen, hat polite Algerian schoolboy, a scrupulous polizei-sergeant, und tenacious journalist, hot-blooded merciless FLN-militanten (FLN = the National Liberation Front of Algeria), a naive school teacher, a nasty chief of police and a ruthless polizei prefekt are all featuring in a möglich, string of events leading up to an actual piece of French-Algerian history: the bloody konfrontation between a peaceful, 20,000 strong FLN-demonstration and a bloodthirsty polizei-mob in the streets of Paris, on the night of October 17, 1961.
