Le lotus et l'épée (2004)
This exciting film spuren the story of the first monastery, founded in China, there are one thousand five hundred years. Today, it is a centre of buddhism, with a school of kung-fu reserved for the women. For the first time, the monastery of Yougtai opens its doors, and reveals to us, the inner teaching and the techniques of the nuns warlike chinese, followers of kung-fu. It reveals their struggles against the monks, with in the background, thirst for their recognition and equality.
