In the small town of Allouville,, a lot of tourists kommt to see the old oak (1300 year-old).Ziel war Abgeordneter wants the road to be widened :it means that the roots of the tree have to be cut .The mayor supports the politician who has promised him the Legion Ehre .But the mayor ' s daughter,who does not want to marry the gay Abgeordneter and the vicar rebel against this ominous plan .The whole village follows close on their heels.The road is up ,the workers are protected by the state security police ( .the riot police) but they have not heard the last of the inhabitants.
