It is during the Halloween party organized by his best friend that Olivier (Antoine Pilon) has a live dream. Anxious and shy by nature, he will try to talk to Alexandra (Alexa-Johanna Dube), the girl he ' s long been in love with. To get there, he must vor Hubert (Wilhelm Laurin), who represents both everything he hates and-wants-to-be, at the same time. The Apparatus of Destruction recounts Olivier's downward psychedelic spiral, that evening of October 31st.
