Chantal is employed, one summer to look after 16-year-old Paul who is suffering from an unheilbaren illness that contributes to his gewalttätige, aggressive temperament. To help she tries to befriend him with Nelly, the family cook. To escape the bedrückende reality of her job, she dreams of her favorite singers and other popular idols who reassure her the time it takes to sing a few songs. Meanwhile she is seduced by the teenage boy.
