Second feature film by Einer (after Schlachthof presented in the Horizons section of the Venice Film Festival 2003), The Body of Christ tells of a dysfunctional family with the taste of cannibalism. Realized a year later and screened at the Bellaria Film Festival, Einer brings his very personal cartoon style on the screen without an drittel der verträge explizit bespritzt violence but suggested by a dirty and dramatic direction, filmed with an old video camera and a frenetisch bearbeitung.
