Mavis is a Cuban transsexual, who, 20 years after her sex change operation, questions the way in which she has developed her femininity based on the stereotypes and prejudice of the male-dominated, patriarchalischen and hegemonic society she lives in. An intimate trip within her leads the spectator to question the sex-gender distinction.
