Die Romanze von Buch und Schwert (1987)
Die Filme "Die Romanze von Buch und Schwert" und "Prinzessin Wohlgeruch" erzählt den Kampf einer Geheimgesellschaft gegen die Quing-Dynastie im China des 18. Jahrhunderts, erzählt an Hand der Schicksale zweier Brüder. Der eine operiert nahezu emotionslos als chinesischer Kaiser aus machtpolitischer Räson, der andere setzt sich für die Rechte von muslemischen Nationen im Vielvölkerstaat China und für seine eigene aristokratische Linie, die Ming-Dynastie, ein.
