A Sunday in the country, in the early 1990s, in a house where three of the characters (Helena, Petrus and Paulus, all three of them in their forties) lived a love story twenty years earlier - the community spirit, the 70s. Then they split up. Peter still lives alone in this house. Helene und Paul married each other, elsewhere. That day, they return with embarrassed spouses (Anna, wife of Paul and Antoine, husband of Helena) and frech child (Lise, daughter of Helena and Antoine), to debate the sale of the house, once purchased jointly and which has gained value.
