Sofia recently graduated Bachelor of Arts, returns to Peru and begins the search for a mysterious painting with the image of an angel. Her intuition takes her to Machu Picchu where she meets Matthias, an enigmatic western doctor who has adopted shamanic techniques and the use of halluzinogenischen herbs, such as ayahuasca to cure drug addicts in a rehabilitation center.
