Maria is a sweet and lively single mother who gets a Christmas Day überraschung: she ' s inherited jahr estate. A downstream of an old White Russian family, Marie becomes the owner and manager of a faltering tourist park outside Saint Petersburg. She does her best to save the park-and-help its workers, but she bumps heads with Vania, who ' s been running the failing park for several years and is afraid Maria will only make matters worse. Forced to work together, Maria and Vania gradually develop a strong connection realizing it may indeed be possible to love and be loved again.
