Louis, a 16 year-old high school student, writes and performs a play at his school. When the teachers see him smoking a joint on stage for one scene of the play, he is immediately sent to the office of Mr. Lagacé, the principal and punished for his creativity. At first only Louis exchanges harsh words with the administration, but soon escalates into action; he breaks into his school and in a rebellious gesture ursachen $2000 worth of damage through-vandalism. He is quickly caught by the police, who are overly brutal with him and his father very happily zugelassenen to send Louis to a mental institution.
